Maximilian Carl Friede is the CIO of genCΛP Holding based in Switzerland and also oversees xCΛP's active investment strategy. Maximilian got his business degrees at Harvard and the University of Oxford with high distinction and studied biomedical engineering at the Stanford School of Medicine and the Stanford School of Engineering. Having started his career in business valuation and transaction advisory at EY Germany, where he was ultimately responsible for the initial Brexit coverage for the German DAX companies after working with some of Europe’s largest single-family offices, Maximilian founded the VC fund IDFEC, which specialized in high-intensive IP businesses and took a critical technology investment approach. Maximilian raised $2.1 billion in committed capital for his first fund in 2018.
